Unfortunately, I did not use Anna to purchase my townhome in Redwood Shores in 2005, but when I made a decision to sell the property in 2015, I did not hesitate for a moment in reaching out to Anna for her advice and expertise.

We interviewed several possible listing agents, and we chose Anna based on a combination of her focus on and track record in the area where we lived as well as her professional demeanor. We lived in a somewhat older home and neighborhood, and early on, she had us face some hard realities in terms of certain changes which needed to be made for the home to appeal to potential buyers and market conditions. We initially emotionally resisted some of those changes, but then more rationally realized we should listen to and trust a professional. The team of people she has put together to do minor changes/ repairs/ upgrades, painting and granite work, as well as staging, photography, and virtual tours were outstanding. The fact that our house sold within a week and then closed within two weeks- well in advance of the contingency date- certainly made that go smoothly and ameliorated a whole lot of potential stress and nail-biting.

She leveraged her extensive contacts to find what we needed and within our price range. When something did come along (was on a Sunday afternoon, 3:45 PM), I simply sent her an email to help me pull disclosures on Monday. Within an hour, she had already met up with the seller's agent, worked out a very, very reasonable pre-emptive offer. A half hour after that, the wife and I had the disclosures in hand, reviewing, signing, initialing forms. We wrote the official offer by 9 PM and by 11 PM, we had it ratified, condo was ours!
In todays seller's market, the buyer is at a disadvantage unless they have some help. I can say with certainty that without Anna, we would still be looking today, over-bidding by hundreds of thousands over asking. When you look for a realtor, not only does he/she need to work hard and know the market, but must be well-connected to others in the business. So when we decided to downsize, we asked Anna to help us sell our home. It was literally 2 months and 4 days from the day we signed the agent contract to close of escrow.
